About the event

Rockin’ the Suburbs

Patrick Foster and Jim Lenahan are two suburban dads who love music. And we mean LOVE music. New, old. Mainstream, alternative. Rock, punk, country, funk – as long as it’s good. Since 2017, Jim and Patrick have hosted Rockin’ the Suburbs, a daily podcast that has drawn a dedicated following of fellow music geeks. They also have staged a number of live events, including annual Suburbs Fest listener gatherings and this live podcast show at Jammin Java on Aug. 11, 2024.

Politics”) is the thought-provoking musical project of Elizabeth Nelson and her husband, Timothy Bracy. Formed in Washington, DC, in 2012, the Paranoid Style has released four albums on Bar/None Records, including their latest, “The Interrogator.”
