About the event

Wandering Lies

Wandering Lies is a female-fronted rock band based out of the Washington, DC Metro area. By combining their do-it-yourself work ethic, and unwavering dedication with a signature sound, singer Angie Pepa, rhythm guitarist Noli Conty, lead guitarist David Chaletzky, bassist Myk Menez, and drummer Jason Brooks are paving their own road to success.  This includes winning multiple battle of the bands, being nominated for best rock group by The Wammies, and being a finalist by HOT 99.5 to open up the 2021 iHeartRadio Festival.

American Jetset

Sunset Strip–era rock & roll never died and it’s finally making a comeback. When streaming hits like Peacemaker (HBO Max) and Punisher (Netflix) feature music from LA Guns, Pretty Boy Floyd, and Vain, it’s proof that 80s hard rock is primed for a resurgence. Enter American Jetset. The Jetset boys are direct descendants of those sleeping giants, and their anthemic hooks and animated live show have earned the band international airplay and a worldwide fanbase.

Their debut “Live Love Die” was praised by the press and they became fan favorites during their coast-to-coast tour supporting Tom Keifer of Cinderella, Jack Russell’s Great White, Faster Pussycat, Living Colour, LA Guns, Slaughter, and more. Will Greenberg of Will to Rock Magazine wrote “Every now and then a new band pops up on your radar that has that extra something…American Jetset have those intangibles. If they keep making the same kick-ass music that they’ve included on their debut, the sky is the limit.”

What followed was a killer collection of DIY singles that continued to turn heads. Jeff Onorato of Sleaze Roxx Magazine said “I was blown away. The Sunset Strip era one of my favorites and they had resurrected that sound in a way that I hadn’t heard in quite some time.”

Now American Jetset is making a grand return in 2022 with their new album “Cat’s Got Your tongue” and a tour that will take the band from Baltimore to Hollywood and back in support of Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Steven Adler (G&R), Jackyl, D’Molls, Kickin Valentina, and more. Ready, Monsters? Kick the tires and light the fires.

Mag Electric

Mag Electric is a 3-piece hard rock band formed in Brooklyn in early 2021. The band consists of Jack Simchak on guitar and vocals, Scott Meyer on bass, and Bill Peluso on drums. The three came together out of a shared love of old school hard rock bands like Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top as well as other influences like Herbie Hancock, Jimi Hendrix, and Jeff Porcaro. The band plays music that can best be described as hard rock with a healthy dose of psychedelic influence by those who have seen Mag Electric live. The band has been playing live since shows began back up in the summer of 2021at places like Arlene’s grocery and Brooklyn Music Kitchen and is now gigging locally and regionally in support of its recently released debut single “Iron Horse” up now on streaming services!

Formed in early 2017 from different musical influences, crafted their sound to match their energetic live performances. Driven by “melodic-anthemic” music, as they call it, has quickly earned them a reputation as one of the most exciting acts
to emerge from the DMV music scene.

Their first EP End of October was released in 2019 and it's available to stream now through all major streaming platforms. The band is currently working on their 2nd EP to be released in 2022 by the record label Tower Of Doom.
