About the event

Skinny Lister

2023 brings a resurgent SKINNY LISTER who kick started the year with an epic tour of the USA supporting friends Flogging Molly and Anti-Flag. Covering the full breadth of the country, the band have reignited their American fan base after a few years away, and plans are afoot for more shows in the latter part of the year including the Salt Dog Cruise in November.

Before that though, the band are busy writing and recording their sixth studio album. Their trademark shanty punk style will be front and centre of the new record, with the songs telling tales of live shows and travelling on the road. Due for release in the Autumn on Xtra Mile Recordings alongside a UK headline tour, further details on both will be unveiled soon.

SKINNY LISTER released their previous album ‘A Matter Of Life & Love’ in 2021. The album entered Top 10 in the Official Indie Album Breakers Chart and No. 29 in Indie album Chart. The single ‘Damn The Amsterdam’ was added to ‘New In Rock’ Apple playlist and ‘A Matter Of Life & Love’ was ‘video of the day’ on Spin website in US.

Since then the band have performed across the UK with sold out headline tours, supported punk legends Less Than Jake, toured Europe and performed at many summer festivals, including Kendal Calling and Wickham Festival.

The band’s career continues to see them passing the growing flagon of their experiences with every album and tour. They’ve led an endless parade gathering fans old and new, from the respected folk circuit to the riotous Download Festival, igniting pogoing mosh-pits at each. Over the past ten years they’ve travelled from rain-soaked London to the vast arteries of the USA, upgrading from narrow boat to Salty Dog Cruise, played huge tours across Europe and North America with Frank Turner, Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly as well as headlining themselves across festivals, sweatboxes and ever-larger venues.

PET NEEDS are a lyrical punk band from Essex UK who play their own brand of Fractured Party Music. Following an extensive UK, US and European tour supporting Frank Turner last year Pet Needs have recently completed their own headline UK tour, including a string of dates for Independent Venue Week. With tickets flying and many dates sold out, the band added extra dates due to extraordinary demand.

Continuing to tour ‘Primetime Entertainment’ in 2023, the band have recently announced a US run supporting The Bouncing Souls throughout as well as a UK tour supporting The Lottery Winners in April. Pet Needs will also be playing a range of warm-up shows and festival slots across the UK including 2000 Trees, Dot To Dot, Bearded Theory and more. Full dates and details below.

Bandaid Brigade

Bandaid Brigade, a unique blend of punk roots, artistic balladry, and classic pop-rock, was formed by Zach Quinn (PEARS), Brian Wahlstrom (Scorpios, Gods of Mount Olympus), and Paul Rucker (Armchair Martian, Street Dogs, Drag The River). Their debut album, ‘I’m Separate,’ released in 2020, marked their entry into the music scene with its mix of early progressive rock and classic pop-rock influences.

In 2022, they released their second album, ‘Sex Is Terrifying,’ which doubled down on their ironic sense of humor and distinctive 1980s new wave-ish, power pop style. Notable tracks include “Hit The Buck,” a hard-rocking song with an infectious bass line, and “The Long Goodbye,” a slower piece showcasing their vocal talents. This album demonstrated Bandaid Brigade’s commitment to pushing their musical boundaries and cemented their place in the music scene.
