Nobita is a five piece band with Jaeson Felismino, Mark Quintero, Sam Aquino, Jonathan Agbanlog and Richmond Bancolita. Their hit single “Ikaw Lang” burst in popularity and put Nobita on the OPM map, with over 24 million streams on YouTube, and 144 million streams on Spotify. The poetic nature of their lyrics and smooth melodies have captured the hearts of Filipinos nationwide and worldwide, pulling their heartstrings time and time again.
Nobita has a passionate fan base lovingly called “Nobibis”, who often share their experiences and personal attachments to the band’s music through social media. The stories they share range from falling even deeper in love with their partners, lost love, and the hope that one day, they too shall find “the one”, testament of the band’s ability to evoke emotion, connect to authentic experiences, and inspire hope and love to their listeners.
Nobita’s rapid rise is no longer a mystery to music fans who have been familiar with their poignant song “Ikaw Lang,” which currently ranks as the third most streamed single on Spotify Philippines as of today. In less than two years, the pop- rock outfit has built an impressive portfolio by releasing songs that capture the beating heart of the young generation, and bringing light, love, and inspiration to as many people as possible.
Driven by the success of their mega-hit “Ikaw Lang” and wedding-themed track “Unang Sayaw,” breakout band NOBITA has recently reached a new milestone in their career for achieving more than 130 million streams on Spotify alone. Having mastered the art of writing hugot anthems inspired by the universality of long- term commitment and romantic desire, the five-piece act continues to make pop- rock tunes that leave listeners in a vulnerable state.
