Jonathan Sloane is a versatile guitarist and songwriter who brings an impressive range of skill to the American music scene. Based in the Washington D.C. area, his sound is an intriguing blend of genres which brings together blues, Americana, soul, and rock into a unique experience.
Across the United States, Jonathan has had the pleasure of working and sharing stages with artists such as Amy Helm, Billy Strings, Butch Trucks, Daryl Davis, George Porter Jr., Greensky Bluegrass, Ivan Neville, Jackie Green, Tab Benoit, Samantha Fish, and Phil Lesh.
Guitarist Bobby Thompson cut his teeth learning to play in the blues clubs of D.C. from the likes of Bobby Parker. After honing his craft as a support man, Thompson decided to step out as a solo artist, and has released seven albums since 2011.
It’s been said that creativity takes courage, and self-expression is a way to show the world your inner soul. Thompson loves performing in both acoustic solo and electric band settings, and attempts to bring authenticity to each performance.
