BURN THE BALLROOM IS THE FIRST ROCK BAND TO PARTNER WITH THE US STATE DEPARTMENT AMERICAN MUSIC ABROAD ENDEAVOR TO REPRESENT AMERICA AND AMERICAN ROCK MUSIC ACROSS THE GLOBE, A PROJECT THAT WITH BEGAN WITH LOUIS ARMSTRONG AND DIZZY GILLESPIE.

Formed by four friends who met at a local open mic, Two by Sea plays a unique brand of hard-nosed, rootsy rock n’ roll, melding influences from American folk, country, and the blues. Described by one fan as “rebel folk”, the band has become known for its catchy original songs and energetic live performances. Their songs are driven by imaginative lyrics and lush guitars, capturing the spirit of rowdy barrooms and the freedom of the open road. Their live performances are spontaneous and visceral, garnering continued praise from local music veterans. Two by Sea’s debut EP “Welcome to the Family” was released in 2020, featuring the feel-good single “Way Back Home”.
