Born in Northern Virginia, Ethan Schaefer began his career as a singer-songwriter at a young age. Son of musician, Robbie Schaefer (of the indie-folk band Eddie From Ohio), Ethan finds most of his musical influences come from his father. From watching Robbie’s performances and singing with him on stage at a young age, Ethan was brought into the musical world with open arms. His father bought him his first real acoustic guitar at 7 years old. Needless to say, it’s been Ethan and his guitar ever since. At age 14, Ethan played his first professional show as an opening act in his hometown of Vienna, VA. By the age of 18, he was headlining shows across the Northern, VA area. The support from his hometown was nothing short of astonishing. After high school, Ethan landed at The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS). He is currently studying music performance and business administration as a part of their Bachelor of Innovation program. In March 2018, Ethan released his debut album, Lost Lover Found, a work that explores his journey with love thus far in the short 24 years he’s been alive. Since the album release, Ethan has released multiple singles while he continues to write. As Ethan gears up to graduate from UCCS, he looks forward to a career in music and storytelling.
