Smoke n' Mangos
Smoke n' Mangos
Smoke n' Mangos was formed in the small town of Poolesville, Maryland, with the least serious of intentions: to get first place at their high school talent show. They got third. Though they enjoyed playing, they did not think anything else was to come of the band. In the three years since that night, Smoke n' Mangos has opened for GRAMMY nominated and nationally touring artists, played the Vans Warped Tour at Merriweather Post Pavilion, recorded three albums, received radio play up and down the East Coast, all while becoming best friends in the process. Being fans of just about all genres of music, the band has worked hard to create a repertoire where anyone in the crowd of any age or musical background can find something to enjoy. Praised by for playing a show marked by "an impressive range," "high spirits, and strong playing," Smoke n' Mangos gives every performance their all and never fails to let their fans know how much they mean.
Dead Men’s Hollow
Dead Men’s Hollow
Dead Men's Hollow began as an impromptu backyard pick n' sing in the summer of 2001. More than a decade later, the group is now a well-established regional band. Dead Men's Hollow performs each year at a wide range of venues, from churches, bars, and festivals to fine arts halls such as the Birchmere, the Mansion at Strathmore and the Kennedy Center.

Dead Men's Hollow draws its influences from bluegrass, country, blues, and gospel. The result is a unique sound, fronted by tight three-part female harmony vocals backed by fiddle, upright bass, and guitar. The group's repertoire comprises a vast array of original and traditional music, encompassing the early centuries of America's musical history as well as modern tales of love and loss.

The group has recorded five commercially released CDs and has tracks on numerous compilation CDs, appeared on national television, received more than 20 Washington Area Music Association "Wammie" Award nominations, won five Wammie Awards—including Best Bluegrass Group and Bluegrass Album of the Year—and continues to be played on radio programs around the world.
