Broke Royals
Broke Royals
Broke Royals was not supposed to be a band. In 2013, Colin Cross and Philip Basnight met at The College of William & Mary in Virginia. Basnight was playing as a solo acoustic act and Cross was breaking ground on a recording studio after years as a touring musician.

After finishing his studio in 2014, Cross needed demos to entice potential clients and he invited Basnight to record some of his songs in the new studio. In their first sessions, the chemistry was palpable and musical partnership was born under the name Broke Royal.

Over the last four years, Basnight and Cross honed a singular sound and toured the country. Joined by live members Taimir Gore and Ben Wilson, Broke Royals always deliver premium rock & roll. True to the roots of their earliest moments in the studio, Basnight and Cross continue to find new ways to meld the genres and inspiration that define their exciting new sound, which Billboard called "arena-ready" and earned them the title as "one of the best live bands in DC" by CBS.
Sub-Radio
Sub-Radio
Washington, DC's Sub-Radio makes smart, danceable pop rock that's always expanding its boundaries. The sextet's high-energy live performances and variety of outstanding vocalists have put them on the map up and down the East Coast. The band’s clean guitars, dancefloor rhythms, and powerful vocals have garnered comparisons to established pop-rock acts like Walk The Moon and Two Door Cinema Club. Multiple songs have been recognized in national songwriting competitions, and Sub-Radio has gigged heavily across the region, playing at the Cherry Blossom Festival, LAUNCH, Celebrate Fairfax, Dewey Beach Music Conference, and Firefly 2017. Following the success of their 2016 debut Same Train//Different Station, the band embarked on a series of monthly singles from April to September 2017. Their upcoming EP Headfirst tackles the 21st century struggle to define relationships and find a community from the high-energy, often goofy perspective the band's fans have to come to expect.
Reed Appleseed
Reed Appleseed
Reed Appleseed is an alternative folk-rock, nightmare-country hybrid. Consisting of the classic four-piece rock and roll band setup, they pay homage to the music they've grown up on, while finding new sounds to give life to the art and push it forward. Simple, beautiful melodies and lush harmonies set the scene for thoughtful, witty lyrics, all held together by a rhythm section so deep in the pocket that they may no longer be wearing pants by the end of the night.
