The Scene Aesthetic
The Scene Aesthetic
For over a decade, The Scene Aesthetic’s debut self-titled album has been there for fans when they needed it most. Each lyric attached to a memory, each promise and feeling preserved. Now, the elusive duo of Andrew de Torres and Eric Kimberlin are returning to the stage to reconnect with those who’ve followed the guys through multiple projects and paths. This small reissue and tour will celebrate over 10 years of this landmark album as well as give the fans one more chance to spend a night toasting to ten years of beauty and breakdowns.
My Heart, My Anchor
My Heart, My Anchor
My Heart My Anchor was created in the summer of 2010 by Sean McCamman, Matt Jones, and Daniel Thompson. The three individuals had been playing in different bands throughout time in Southern Maryland and got together to try their luck with a different style as soon as their projects disbanded. The three created three songs and took to Ellicott City, Md to record their very first EP. With production and song structure help from Nik Tyler and Shane Henderson(Valencia), the band ended up with three songs that they were proud of. The trio would hop onto any show that became available to them to help spread their music to anyone that was willing to listen to it.

After a year and a half of a busy show scheduling, ranging from shows with Jonny Craig to The Chariot, the group decided to recruit the help of Robbie King on bass guitar and Tyler Lagana on drums. The band locked themselves away from shows for a good three months to create a brand new EP entitled The Lover The Liar The Thief. During recording, the band parted ways with Matt Jones and gained Lead Guitarist Anthony Niv. The band continued to play shows in support of their latest ep, but disbanded only 6 months after it's release.

After a brief hiatus, Daniel and Sean decided to take the band back to where it started. The two are currently recording an acoustic full length of all of the songs they had created together, which is scheduled to be released by late-January. In 2014 they plan to embark on their first tour, before traveling to Boston, Mass to record their next EP with Jay Maas of Defeater.
