Rorie
Rorie
Rorie is a singer-songwriter, crafting music that tells stories of both heartache and hope. Known for poetic lyrics and ambient vocals, Rorie and her band create a captivating live music experience that is uplifting and emotional.

Her newest EP, ‘Dawn’ is a lush combination of electro and cinematic pop, while still maintaining her signature, singer-songwriter sound. The release reached top 10 on the iTunes singer-songwriter charts.

Her debut EP, ‘Singing & Silence,’ was featured in the iTunes Singer-Songwriter New Artist Spotlight. Produced by grammy nominated producer Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, Andrew Belle), these songs feature intricate composition, uplifting melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics. Prior to this, Rorie released a single, “Restore,” which was funded by 98 Kickstarter backers. The song was inspired by her time working for an anti-human trafficking non-profit in NYC, and has resulted in bi-annual donations to organizations that are doing this important work.
Hayley Fahey
Hayley Fahey
Hayley Fahey is a singer-songwriter who captivates audiences with her sparkling range and originality. What sets her apart, in addition to her writing and voice, are her live stage performances and the presence she has, exuding energy, confidence and love for the music. When Hayley is on stage, she’s home.
Fahey draws from the many influences of her Washington, D.C. area home. The soulful sound of R&B translates into her passionate vocal performances. Her writing and sound are versatile and inspiring, from her indie-folk vibe to catchy pop hooks that get stuck in your head.

She has performed solo and with her band of seasoned professionals on impressive stages like the 9:30 Club, State Theatre, Bethesda Blues and Jazz Club, Rams Head Live, Strathmore Music Center, The Hamilton, Takoma Park Folk Festival, Project HERA Female Fronted Music Festival at the State Theatre, the Blue Plate Special Live Radio Show on WDVX in Knoxville, Tenn, Nationals Park Fairgrounds as well as many large festivals and concert series. Fahey has played alongside other DC-based pros such as Daryl Davis (keyboard player for Chuck Berry) many times at Bethesda Blues and Jazz, Ronnie Newmyer (Newmyer Flyer tribute shows), and has sung the National Anthem for the University of Maryland and the Bowie Baysox.

Fahey has recorded two full length albums, released in 2016 and 2018. Her music has attracted praise from industry professionals. Here are just a few of the many kudos she’s recently received:

“Hayley is the real deal and has both the singing and writing chops to back it. I expect to hear a lot of wonderful things from her going forward and this release shows great promise.” – John Alagia, Multi-Grammy nominated producer (John Mayer, Dave Matthews).

“She’s got it all; the presence, delivery, attitude and raw talent of an artist that’s rocketing her way from an opening act to a headliner on the national concert stage.” – Scott Shuman, Grammy Award winning producer
Throwing Plates
Throwing Plates
Combining heartfelt singer/songwriter roots with folk-rock grit, Throwing Plates is becoming a regular act among many venues in the Washington area. Created by three gifted musicians and songwriters, the DC based group aptly incorporates fresh musical thinking with memorable melodies.

Throwing Plates was founded by James Britton, Jamie Boyd, and Doug Imhoff; the three crossed paths while performing in DC showcases. Mutually impressed by their talents, they soon began writing songs together. Over the past three years Throwing Plates has independently booked and performed over 250 shows and have received awards from the Songwriters Association of Washington and Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest.

Through their energetic and interactive stage presence, the trio is accumulating a loyal following. In 2015, well-known songwriter and producer Mark Williams was impressed with Throwing Plates, leading to work on their recording debut. The self-titled album was released on July 29th, 2016 and can be found on iTunes, Spotify, and other online retailers.
