Eric Scott
Eric Scott
Washington, D.C. area musician Eric Scott has to date enjoyed a varied and interesting musical journey. As a touring bassist and vocalist, Scott has performed on numerous stages throughout Europe, Canada, the Caribbean Islands, Central America, and the entire United States. While building his reputation as one of the area's most sought after sidemen & session players, Scott wrote and released three solo records, DIVINE STATIC (1999), LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE FOOLS (2002), and RED (2007), to critical acclaim.

The journey continues with Scott's fourth release WHERE THE WATER RUNS DEEPEST (May 2012) on the Itzall Goode Music label (Indie). DEEPEST further explores the neo-soul, funk, and pop influences of RED...but Scott's sound continues to evolve. It is no less confessional than RED...maybe even more so...and is even more personal and intimate with it's stripped down production and arrangements. While the performances are first rate, this release is all about the songs and the voice; and they are wrapped in a sheerer, warmer, acoustic package.

Eric Scott was born in Washington, DC and is a lifelong DC area resident. He has been a professional musician since 1994. Scott grew up listening to everything from Black Sabbath, Rush, AC/DC, The Ramones, and Motorhead to Marvin Gaye, Nat King Cole, The Dregs, ELO, Elton John, Hall and Oates, Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello, Wes Montgomery, and Dave Brubeck....and he still does. "Pantera might be in my CD player one day and The Carpenters the next." he says. "I listen to everything."
Mutlu
Mutlu
Mutlu is a Philadelphiabased singersongwriter. Mutlu has already built a substantial fan base in his hometown, while winning widespread praise for his prior releases. He's collaborated and toured extensively as a support act with legendary duo Daryl Hall & John Oates and holds the distinction of having made the most guest appearances on Daryl Hall's acclaimed, awardwinning TV/Internet show "Live From Daryl's House". He's also gained considerable attention for his work with noted singersongwriter Amos Lee, with whom he's toured extensively as a support act and backup vocalist. He was the support act on the North American leg of Joe Jackson's acclaimed "Rain" tour.
Born Mutlu Onaral, he grew up steeped in Philadelphia's deep R&B traditions, eagerly absorbing the fundamentals of oldschool soul music and incorporating it into his own musical persona. His local success led to a recording deal with Manhattan/EMI Records, which released his acclaimed 2008 debut album Livin' It, produced by the late, great TBone Wolk, and featuring guest appearances by Daryl Hall, Amos Lee, G. Love and Raheem DeVaughn. His latest release is the Caffeine & Whiskey EP which he coproduced with songwriter/producer Darius Amendolia.
Kiran Kairab
Kiran Kairab
Northern Virginia singer/songwriter Kiran Kairab brings gutsy vocals back to the forefront of her self-penned tunes. Kiran explores the nature of
relationships, both broken and new, and the complexity of loss on her new EP, Night Flower. From the opening chords of "Yesterdays," with its
catch harmonies and upbeat introduction, Kiran quickly winds her way to heftier matters with "The Truth," and "Afraid to Fall," two of the larger
tunes on the compilation. Kiran's vocals are showcased, but not dwarfed by the ambient and lush instrumentals.

The word, Kairab, translates into "flower that blooms in the night." Says Kiran, "some might call me a late bloomer, but I think it's still a beautiful
image in my mind - the thought of a flower winding its way toward the moonlight, finally opening up.
