Hitting the charts with a bang, Stranded in The Present Tense, landed in the top 40 on the Singer/Songwriter charts the same day of its release. This album features acclaimed musicians such as Nir Z on drums (John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Geneses), David LaBruyere on bass (John Mayer) and Grammy nominated Sierra Hull on the mandolin. Stranded in The Present Tense was recorded both in Portland and Nashville and was co-produced by Gus Berry.

This album release comes on the heels of a life threatening illness that Ryan began battling the day he was scheduled to begin recording. Fortunately, Ryan was able to get back into the studio a year and a half later to create this intimate and relevant album. Ryan’s fans love him for his personal lyricism, expert musicianship, and personal style which is all at once new and familiar, and Stranded in The Present Tense is his newest example of why. It takes listeners on Ryan’s journey to discover the meaning of belonging and overcoming the natural internal obstacles that everyone faces when searching for self-actualization. While this album is autobiographical in nature, it is undoubtedly relatable and invites listeners to find themselves in the story.

Ryan is excited to begin touring to bring his music to stages across the country. For upcoming shows, visit his website, For inquiries about the album, tour dates, or interview requests, please reach out to
