Airpark is an alternative pop/rock duo made up of brothers Michael Ford, Jr. and Ben Ford – both formerly of The Apache Relay. Their namesake is a former private airport, long abandoned and finally repurposed by the city of Nashville as a community park.

Airpark founders Michael Ford, Jr. and Ben Ford have always played music together. Born 16 months apart outside New Orleans, the two landed in Nashville due to Hurricane Katrina and the pursuit of higher education.

In the years that followed, the brothers’ musical history evolved similar to that ever-changing airport. It ebbed and flowed with departures and arrivals . . . some delayed and some unexpected. These travels produced new perspective and brought Airpark back to the beginning – a duo, repurposed and a musical identity, reclaimed.

Their calling cards are instinctive melodies and family harmonies coupled over a groove-oriented, alt-pop fingerprint. Airpark is stoically sonic and uniquely committed to innovation over repetition. And so the evolution continues with new songs and redefined goals.

Michael Ford, Jr. and Ben Ford have been active in the diverse Nashville music scene since 2005. They have performed across the USA, Canada and Europe and alongside the likes of Mumford & Sons, Jenny Lewis, Young the Giant and Trampled By Turtles. Their music has been placed in such films as The Way Way Back, Safelight and the television program Legit on FX.
The Dawn Drapes
The Dawn Drapes
The Dawn Drapes are an alternative indie rock trio based in Harrisonburg VA. After playing together in various projects in both the Washington DC and Harrisonburg, VA music scenes, friends Michael Sanzo, Daniel Rice and Eggy Gorman formed the group in late 2012. The band are self-described as:

“Lyrically conscience shimmering rock and roll with a devastating groove.”

While well known in the up and coming Harrisonburg, VA music scene, the band is quickly covering lots of ground up and down the East coast, captivating audiences from New England down through the American south and everywhere in between. In the fall of 2013 the band headed into Blue Sprocket Sound in Harrisonburg to work on their debut release She, which includes six original tracks showcasing the band’s songwriting and musical talent. Since the release, She has received a wave of positive reviews:
“The disc opens with the dark, progressive bounce of “Ezra.” Brilliant, influential oddities of Steely Dan, Carole King and The National flash across my memory banks as I listen to this stark and arabesque journey to the center of their minds.” – John Pfeiffer – Shoreworld, Asbury Park, NJ

“Clocking in at a little over 28 minutes, She washes over the listener like a concise vivid dream that lingers for the rest of the day. All told, The Dawn Drapes have created a mature piece of art that is remarkably clear in its vision for a debut album” – Mike Schoeffel – The Dominion Collective, Harrisonburg, VA

“It is always a pleasure to listen to high quality music that does not cross that pretentious edge, but instead has thought behind it all that moves it beyond the ordinary boundaries of rock music.” – David Hintz – DC Rock Live, Washington, DC

Moving forward The Dawn Drapes will continue to bring their unique brand of music to the masses, entertaining audiences throughout the east coast and expanding into the universe.
