Jammin' Java is a premier music venue presenting the finest local, regional and nationally touring acts seven nights a week in an intimate, enjoyable setting. Audiences and performers alike enjoy the first-class sound system, lighting, and personal attention we provide.

We're located in Vienna, VA about 15 miles west of Washington, DC.

All concerts are general admission. Jammin' Java is non-smoking and all-ages at all times. Tickets can be pre-purchased online or by calling us at 703.255.1566 ext. 8 or by stopping by.

The concert space is located in the same space as our cafe. We highly recommend that you arrive 30 minutes to an hour before the show and enjoy our full dinner menu and our full bar. Food and drinks are available before during and after the show.

Booking Info:

Basic facts: Capacity is 180 per show. High-end sound, light system and sound engineer provided. Format is eclectic original music. Concerts seven nights a week. All shows are all-ages.

If you are interested in performing at Jammin' Java, please read the following:

There are basically 3 performance "roles" at Jammin' Java. Headliner, Co-headliner, and Opener. Headliners should be able to draw at least 100 people on a weeknight and at least 150 people on a weekend. Co-bills should be able to draw at least 50 people on a weeknight and at least 75 people on a weekend. Openers are generally unpaid and draw is not as much of an issue. These are not hard and fast rules, just general guidelines. (see below for alternative performance opportunities)

1. Please direct all booking inquiries to Daniel Brindley at daniel@jamminjava.com. Do not send unsolicited promo kits/CDs. E-mail correspondence is preferable to phone correspondence.
2. In your e-mail, please indicate how you'd fit best as a performer at Jammin' Java (Headliner, Co-Headliner, Opener), what date(s) you are interested in, and include a link to your web site (if you have one).

Open Mic:

The Jammin' Java Open Mic, hosted by David Cotton, is held every Monday evening unless there is a show booked. The show is always free and all are welcome.

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions:

How do you sign up to play?
Contact David Cotton.
What if there are no spaces left on the night of the show?
Stick around and support your fellow artists, then come back the following week.
What do you provide? Do I need to bring anything?
We provide a sound system with three vocal mics and two direct input lines for instruments. No drum kits.
How many songs can I play?
Each act may play two songs totaling no more than 8 minutes, no exceptions. Please do not exceed the time limit and be considerate of your fellow artists.
