The Later Late Show: Main Stage Comedy Showcase
The Later Late Show: Main Stage Comedy Showcase
PLEASE NOTE: if this were a movie, it would be rated R. Everyone under 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent.

For the last 5 years, the Later Late Show has been bringing you some of BEST local and nationally touring stand-up comedians and now they're backed up with a phenomenal house band, SMOOTH AF! These comics have appeared on national television (Comedy Central, Vice TV, BET, ABC's Last Comic Standing), performed in bars, clubs, theaters, comedy festivals, and kids birthdays all over the country, and now they're at Jammin' Java, just to make you laugh!

Hosted by Ben Daniels

Ben Daniels
Ben Daniels
Ben Daniels first did stand up in 6th grade at a talent show. Then he stopped for a long time. In 2011, he longed again to recapture the glory that was coming in 7th place and started doing stand up again. It has given him the opportunity to perform for tens to hundreds of people, open for Erik Griffin from Comedy Central's Workaholics, and drive Dave Coulier 4 hours to a gig. Needless to say, the future looks bright for Ben.
Danny Charnley
Danny Charnley
Danny Charnley spent his boyhood on the Chesapeake Bay in southern Maryland, where, if he is remembered, it is as the second-worst dresser in the county. After graduating from the University of Maryland, Danny continued to pursue his dream of making people laugh, or, sigh and shake their heads in disapproval. Even with a massively loyal following, Danny Charnley feels no obligation to be “funny” and it shows. Often, he writes his bio in the 3rd-person and pretends like someone else did it. Some people say Danny is very handsome, funny and great. Danny likes to call those people “geniuses.” He has performed in bars, seafood restaurants and comedy clubs all over this great country and has shared the stage with the likes of Tony Woods and Dan St. Germain. Danny Charnley is the President of Stand-up Comedy and has been featured on Playboy.com. Follow him on Twitter @dankcharnley.
Joe Turner
Joe Turner
Joe Turner has lived in NOVA all his life. Performing comedy since the age of 17, this 17 year old has been on the comedy scene for a grand total of several months. Having performed on the Sonic Youth showcase at Black Cat and on the Later Late Show at Jammin' Java, critics have said that he's "trying his best". His parents are very proud(they still think he's going to be a lawyer), and his girlfriend doesn't exist. Once someone said he was funny, but he thinks it was sarcasm.
Isaac Hirsch
Isaac Hirsch
Isaac Hirsch is a 22 year old comedian with weird-looking wrists. He’s one of the most promising comedians coming out of Baltimore’s nascent comedy scene, performing throughout the city at theaters, colleges, punk clubs, and the city’s Artscape festival. He won the DC edition of Funny or Die’s Road 2 Oddball stand-up competition in 2014, and was an MVP nominee of Rooftop Comedy’s National College Comedy Competition in 2012. He also performs regularly in Washington DC, and occasionally appears at the DC Improv. He’s performed around the country at comedy festivals in North Carolina, Boston, and Los Angeles.
Noah Crowley
Noah Crowley
Noah Crowley is a three year veteran of the local comedy scene having performed at shows throughout Virginia, Maryland, and DC, and has appeared on the Comedic Intent Podcast. Noah’s comedic stylings have been described as a mix of cleverly stupid and stupidly clever. It’s a good thing Jammin Java’s in-house biographer came up with this description and not Noah, otherwise Noah would hate himself forever for how pretentious and self-congratulatory he just sounded.
Bryce Chevalier
Bryce Chevalier
When Bryce isn't out hunting or voting Republican, he's in the local soup kitchens and supporting the troops. With a heart of gold and silver tongue, he took the stage in '94 and has been making people think and laugh, most importantly think. This guy is not someone to be missed and is always looking for new people to be in his online web series. So strap on your thinking caps and get ready to bust a gut.
Tok Moffat
Tok Moffat
Hailing from South Africa – Tok is not your stereotypical African. Growing up in the suburbs of Washington, DC, attending Catholic schools and working with extremely anti-social engineers, he was driven to pursue his passion of making people laugh. Beginning his comedy career in 2012, Tok uses his comedic style of being witty, introspective and relatable to his experiences growing up as the “weird” foreign kid, and sounding like Carlton Banks among other challenges with fitting in to stand-up.
Kevin McCarron
Kevin McCarron
Kevin McCarron is a stay-at-home Dad and standup comedian from the suburbs of Frederick, Maryland. He listens to Neil Young, wishes the NFL could go back to the 80’s, misses Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan, and has been told he was born in the wrong time, place and body. He’s performed at the Cellar Door in Frederick, the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, Virginia, the First Stage Theatre in Vienna, Virginia as well as up and down the East Coast. He wants his appendix back. You can follow him on twitter @CaptainBlake4.
