Nattali Rize
“…Enuff corporate noise in the ears of the youth… Time to spread the Truth.”

Ask her where she comes from, she’ll tell you “All Directions”. In line with her philosophy she claims not to belong to any nation state but to the ever evolving community of conscious thinkers and creators anywhere & everywhere. Of mixed global heritage, with dominant Native American and Samoan roots, Nattali Rize has been known around the world for her work fronting epic roots band Blue King Brown as well as for her unwavering commitment to using her voice and music for the global struggle toward the realization of Full Freedom and the movement of Truth and Justice over the systemic exploitation of the people and our planet.

The ever evolving and dynamic front woman now leads out fresh as a solo artist, with a heavy Reggae influence she describes her universal sound as World Beat. Lyrical. New Era. Nattali is Known for her high energy, thought provoking and uplifting live performances, whether it be fronting her electric band, performing solo, unplugged, or accapella. Her new international band is a Jamaican, Pacific, global Mash up of raw energy and vibe that has been rocking hearts, hips and minds since they burst onto the scene in June. An exciting evolution of this multi-dimensional Heartist!

“Nattali is a bright light in the world with a vision that extends beyond the stage.” – Michael Franti (Spearhead)

After spending most of 2014 living, writing and recording, in Kingston Jamaica, 2015 has seen Nattali Rize drop some heavy hitting tracks. Including a deep live and studio collaborative project with cutting edge Jamaican live band and production crew ‘Notis’ and more…

Nattali Rize burst onto the US scene Off the back of shows with Blue King Brown at Cali Roots & Joshua Tree and a string of dates opening for SOJA in May. Over summer, playing dates alongside Michael Franti & Spearhead and festivals including Electric Forest, Wakarusa, Gathering of the Vibes, Sierra Nevada World Music Festival

Making waves out of Jamaica, to high acclaim, Nattali’s EP dropped in August 2015, entitled New Era Frequency, it’s a collaboration with ‘Notis’ heavyweight rockaz, featuring singles/videos ‘Rebel Love ft Zuggu Dan’ and ‘Generations Will Rize ft Kabaka Pyramid’.

“This set contains heavy hitting tracks, both musically and lyrically, and brims with rebelliousness and emotion.” Reggaemani

“For me it’s not just about playing music that sounds nice. It’s not just for fun: it’s about being part of a movement, shifting perception and helping to amplify pathways to higher consciousness. Music is a powerful force toward this realization when used in such a way…” Nattali Rize

“Working with Nattali is fluid and natural. The connection was there from the first track, then to see her move to Jamaica and show us how passionate and strong her commitment is to the movement was inspiring. We’ve brought two cultures together to create one, naturally this has created something exciting and fresh.. Notis loves to be part of fresh innovation.. is a good vibe this, we look forward to sharing it with the world.” – Wayne ‘Unga Barunga’ Thompson, of Notis.

“One of the nation’s most refreshing voices”
– Rolling Stone.

Born and bred in the cultural melting pot that is Washington D.C.'s metro area where people and music from all over the world interact daily, FeelFree's music is a genre-bending sound. Blending reggae, rock, funk, and jazz influences, their live show "floats like a hummingbird and stings like a bee" with soaring, blues-tinged guitar over smooth vocal melodies amidst heavy grooves and huge horn-lines.

In 2004, Andrew Pfeiffer (vocals/guitar/trombone), Evan Hulehan (guitars/vocals/production), and Bryan Frank (drums) began composing original tunes and playing cover songs together while enrolled in George Washington Middle School in Alexandria, VA. After adding Garret Clausen on bass/vocals/saxophone and Colin Cantfil on trumpet in 2010, FeelFree began writing, recording, and performing sporadically in and around the Washington D.C. area packing up places like Jammin Java, The Fish Market of Old Town Alexandria, and Rock & Roll Hotel. Over the course of 2010-2012, the band independently home-recorded, produced, and released an album’s worth of material helping to build buzz about the group in the Washington D.C. metro area while they finished up school.

After winning Deli Magazine: D.C.’s Emerging Artist of the Month award, the band embarked on their first ever regional tour in July of 2013 before entering Arlington VA's historic Inner Ear Studios (where D.C. legends like Fugazi, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, and SOJA crafted their sound) to record their next EP. FeelFree independently released The Ebb Tide EP in December 2013 at a packed album-release show in Old Town Alexandria, VA. The result, The Ebb Tide EP, is a beautiful whirlwind of different sounds, influences, and genres. Ranging from the album's huge opening track,"The Motions”, to the album's closing track, a quiet but soulful acoustic ballad "After the Heatwave”, the band crafted an 8 song album that is both upbeat and serene at the same time.

Once finished with school, the band toured up and down the East Coast from Miami, FL to Burlington, VT throughout 2014-2015 while the group consisted of Pfeiffer, Hulehan, Frank, Clausen, Cantfil and Davey Hoen on keyboards. In early 2016, FeelFree enlisted Jack Kilby, a longtime friend of the band and well respected drummer also from Alexandria, VA to be Bryan Frank's full-time replacement on drums. Now more than two years in the works, the band is currently finishing their next full length album, having already released the album’s first two singles, “Fishery” and “Right By Her" in early 2016.
