Katherine Jessup
Katherine Jessup
Katherine Jessup believes in magic in the mundane. Alternately called "a good person" and "tall," she draws on her own life experiences to entertain audiences all over the East Coast. A former cubicle jockey and high school coach, Katherine can be found most nights trying to make strangers laugh. She has headlined the inaugural Charm City Comedy Festival, performed at Capital Fringe, the Bentzen Ball, and She-Devil Comedy Festival, and is a regular at clubs around DC and Baltimore. You can find her on Twitter and Instagram at @titlehere.
Jamie Benedi
Jamie Benedi
Jamie Benedi; he often wonders how many books he will have to read before he gets a British accent then in fear he must read one more book, this time on schizophrenia. He once thought he saw a ninja turtle then noticed that he just had a booger in his eye. His dreams are very important to him, but he can never remember them in the morning. This up and comer can be seen all over Northern Virginia, DC and sometimes Maryland. He likes to write jokes and tell them to people. As seen at the Comic Strip Live NYC, Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse and the DC Improv.
Ben Daniels
Ben Daniels
Ben Daniels first did stand up in 6th grade at a talent show. Then he stopped for a long time. In 2011, he longed again to recapture the glory that was coming in 7th place and started doing stand up again. It has given him the opportunity to perform for tens to hundreds of people, open for Erik Griffin from Comedy Central's Workaholics, and drive Dave Coulier 4 hours to a gig. Needless to say, the future looks bright for Ben.
Martin Phillips
Martin Phillips
Martin Phillips has been doing comedy for over three years now. He started in college around the DC area. One year he was the runner-up in the funniest college student in DC contest and the next year he won it. Martin has performed at the DC Improv, Funny Bone, colleges like UNC at Chapel Hill, and festivals, such as this summer at Artscape in Baltimore. Martin Phillips has done comedy all over Virginia....and could be coming to a state near you!
